Kayla graduated from Centenary College in January 2014 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and Special Education. She currently teaches 6th grade mathematics in Roxbury Township. Kayla has a love for teaching, and helping students feel confident in math.


Liz has a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Alfred University and an MEd in Early Childhood Education from Tufts University. Her certificates are Elementary Education and Reading Specialist. She has been teaching children in kindergarten through fifth grade for over 30 years. Her passion is ensuring that each and every child develops a love of learning while succeeding academically. 


Lori graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and Special Education with a minor in Language Arts. She is a natural people person. She endeavors to differentiate instruction to ensure that all students excel. Lori loves to travel whenever she isn’t working. She is a dog lover and spends any free time on zumba workouts. Most of all, she is an effervescent person, a supportive tutor, and a positive member of our team.


Melissa earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching from James Madison University as an elementary teacher K-5 as well as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities. Melissa loves to teach in a fun, interactive and hands-on way that allows students to take risks within their learning. Currently, she works as a Special Education teacher in Madison in grades 4 and 5. She just finished her first year of teaching and is excited to start the next! 


Paula graduated Cum Laude from York College in 1997 with a concentration in reading. She earned her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in 2005 from William Patterson where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Paula has a Principal's Certificate. She is an enthusiastic educator with more than twenty-two years of teaching experience. In those years, I have taught Kindergarten through Third, as well as Seventh grade.  Sharing my enthusiasm for reading is my passion.


Cheryl has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from St. Mary of the Woods College in Indiana. She also has an Early Childhood Montessori certification from CMTE in New York. She has been teaching in a Montessori classroom for the last 21 years. She enjoys helping children learn math and language concepts, geography and science through concrete materials. She believes that children should have a love of learning at any age. 


Jennifer loves the curious minds of young learners! She knows children learn best when receiving quality instruction coupled with ample practice time. In her planning, she considers the whole child to ensure engaging, developmentally appropriate activities. Getting to know her students' interests and preferred methods of learning help her develop rapport with those she tutors as well as their families. Jenn believes that every child has the potential to be and do anything. A certified teacher, she is available to tutor grades K-3. 


Katie Sabatino is a current student at Columbia University’s Teachers College earning her Masters in Curriculum Development. She is a certified teacher and has experience teaching students K-8 in all subject areas. She earned her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from Bucknell University and especially loves teaching math as it was her most challenging subject as a student. She believes that every student has the potential to excel given the proper support and a safe learning environment. 


Carie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education (grades K-12) from Rowan University in 2005. Currently, Carie is a teacher at a local middle school where she teaches Math, Science and Language Arts. Carie is qualified to teach Elementary Grades K-5 (all subjects), Middle School Math, Science and Language Arts, K-12 Special Needs and Study/ Organizational Skills.


As a teacher of all of the middle school grade levels for the last eleven years, Lauren is familiar with the 5th through 8th grade mathematics curriculum. Earning a degree in Mathematics and Science, and a certification in Teaching Students with Learning Disabilities, has given Lauren the wonderful experience to work with all learning abilities. As a Basic Skills Math Teacher, she understands that some students just need that extra time to truly understand & retain the content. Lauren looks forward to working with the students & celebrating their progress! 


Margaret holds a B.A. Degree in Spanish from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and she earned her Elementary Teaching Certificate in 1999.  She is currently a substitute teacher at the local elementary and middle school. Margaret enjoys working one on one with students to help bring out their full potential.


Rachel will be graduating from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in December 2020 with a B.S in Elementary Education (PreK-4) and a minor in disability studies. She is currently a Kindergarten student teacher and has a passion to teach elementary aged children! She has a passion for working with special needs children and enjoys helping children reach their goals! Rachel has experience tutoring Kindergarten and first grade students with english language arts, phonics and letter recognition! She strongly believes in creating a bond with students and supporting them to maximize their success!


Andy has been in Elementary education for 24 years and has enjoyed teaching children and working with their families to help them strive to reach their full potential. Specifically, Andy is available to tutor students in Grades 2-7. One of the greatest rewards for a teacher is when they can see their students’ faces light up as they’ve grasped a concept in which they’ve struggled with for so long. It is pure joy! 



Maggie graduated from Susquehanna University in 2017 with a B.S. in Mathematics, as well as Secondary Education.  Maggie is currently teaching high school mathematics at the Academy of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, New Jersey. Maggie loves to teach but she also loves to learn from her students in the process. She believes that there is always more learning to do!!


Lynne (Mrs O.) is a former West Morris Central Math teacher, who just can't get enough of Math! Recently retired, Lynne brings her enthusiasm and passion for math to each session. She is an integral part of our ACT/SAT program, helping students improve their scores and confidence on the math section. Lynne is also available to tutor all levels of High School Math through Pre-Calculus. 


Jenna graduated Cum Laude in 2015 with a B.S. in Mathematics from Ursinus College. Jenna currently teaches Math at Morris Knolls High School and has been tutoring since 2014. She is also taking classes to earn her Master's in Education from TCNJ. She enjoys extending her knowledge and love for the subject to students who are struggling.



Steve graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in Secondary Education with a Concentration in Mathematics. Steve completed his graduate work at Montclair University where he earned a Master's Degree in Mathematics Education with a Concentration in Algebra. Steve has been teaching Middle School Mathematics since 1994. Currently, Steve  teach's 7 grade Pre-Algebra and Algebra in the Sparta school district. Steve is able to help students in Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II.  


Matt graduated with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Connecticut. Matt assists students on a weekly basis with Middle School/ High School Math, ACT/SAT Math, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. An excellent communicator, his ongoing passion for the sciences and math, as well as his ability to connect with his students have made him a valuable member of our team. 


Craig graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and secondary education teaching certificates in Biology and General Sciences. In 2013, he obtained a Master's degree in Instruction and Curriculum as well as a certification in Chemistry. Craig is currently teaching at Sussex Tech. He has taught Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science. Craig is available to tutor Biology, Chemistry & ACT Science.


Albert graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology with a BS in Applied Physics. He has a passion for all levels of mathematics and physics and is dedicated to helping students appreciate and understand the concepts and problems presented to them. Currently, along with tutoring, Albert is applying to graduate school for physics.


Zack will be graduating from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in the Spring of 2021 with a B.S. in Secondary Education and a Concentration in Mathematics. He will also graduate with 2 minors: one in STEM Education and the other in Actuarial Science. Zack has always had a passion to be a teacher all his life and math has been the subject he enjoys the most throughout his  years in school.  He can assist students in math subjects regarding: Algebras 1 & 2, Geometry, Precalculus and Calculus. 


Courtney completed her undergraduate coursework at Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Arts, having double majored in Mathematics and Studio Art. She subsequently earned a Master’s in Mathematics Education from NYU. She worked as an Adjunct Professor of Calculus at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, and most recently worked as an Upper School Mathematics Teacher at The Morristown-Beard School followed by the Academy of Saint Elizabeth. She is entirely committed to her students, doing whatever is necessary for them to understand and appreciate the beauty and intricacies of the subject.


Arjuna Kalkunte graduated from the Morris Country Academy for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering, as well as attended both Pennsylvania State and Rutgers Universities. He specializes in explaining scientific and mathematical areas of study, including Calculus, Geometry, Chemistry, Physics, and any associated SAT/ACT test preparation. 


Lauren has a B.S. in Mathematics from Montclair State University (graduated Cum Laude). She currently teaches at Mount Olive High School. She is eager to help students achieve while being understanding and patient. Lauren strives for high goals and enjoys watching her students get there.


Lisa Pinto is a native of Long Valley. Lisa graduated from TCNJ in 2009 with a degree in Elementary
Education and Math, Science, and Technology, and from Kean University in 2014 with a Masters in
Physics Curriculum and Instruction. I am NJ Certified Teacher in Elementary Education, Middle School
Mathematics, Middle School Science, and Physics. I have a total of 11 years teaching experience in
middle school science and high school physics. I have a very outgoing, bubbly personality with all my students.


Tara graduated from the Fairleigh Dickinson University Honors College in May 2020 with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. She is currently student teaching at Old Turnpike Middle School in a 6th grade math classroom while finishing her Master of Arts in Teaching. After completing
student teaching, she will be certified in Elementary Education, Middle School Math, English, and Science, High School Math, and Special Education. Tara is excited to help students become confident in their math skills.


Daniel is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. After graduating in December 2020, he plans on obtaining a full-time role in Data Analytics while potentially obtaining a Masters in Data Science. Daniel is comfortable tutoring middle school and high school Math as well as Chemistry and Physics. Daniel has had several years of tutoring experience, some of which includes tutoring college students in various Calculus courses. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys rock-climbing, riding his road bike, and reading some good books!


Katarina is currently pursuing a B.S. in Biology from the College of New Jersey. After graduating in May 2022, she plans to attend medical school. Katarina has experience tutoring various Biology and Chemistry courses for high school and college level students. She enjoys working one-on-one to help students understand and appreciate Biology and Chemistry. 


Shannon earned her undergraduate degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Biology. She earned both her Teaching and Educational Leadership graduate degrees from Montclair State University. When she was in school she had two teachers who inspired her love of learning Science and Math, which brought her to a career in education. She hopes to be that source of encouragement and inspiration for her students. Shannon is available for tutoring in K-8 General Science, general/honors/AP level Biology, introductory Chemistry, US History, K-7 math, and evidenced writing. 


Chris graduated from The University of Delaware in 1996 with a degree in Mathematics Education. He has been teaching HS Mathematics since February of 1996. Chris is available to tutor Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Calculus and SAT/ACT test preparation. He brings his passion and enthusiasm for Math to every session!


Gitanjali (Ms. G) graduated Magna Cum Laude from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2002 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Gitanjali continued in her education at NJIT to earn a MS in Electrical Engineering. Currently, she is a Mathematics Professor at County College of Morris. Gitanjali has over 10 years of experience teaching/tutoring and helping students understand math.



Julia graduated from James Madison University in May of 2016 with a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics. She has been tutoring middle school, high school, and college level math classes between two different colleges and private tutoring. She developed a passion for teaching, especially math material, while she taught this class. Julia plans to attend graduate school and to become a teacher one day.



Giovanna graduated from Villanova University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Spanish. She is very passionate about science and helping others. This fall, Giovanna will be combining these passions as she attends the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Giovanna was a student herself at Homework Helpers, and she is excited to now be the one to tutor! She is available to tutor all levels of biology and chemistry as well as ACT science prep. Giovanna looks forward to meeting new students and helping them reach their goals.


Christina graduated Boston College in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Rutgers University. At Homework Helpers, she tutors ACT Math and Science, AP Biology and high school math including Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II. Christina played soccer and lacrosse in high school and now enjoys long-distance running.


Marc Papish graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a B.A. in Biology in 2003. For the past 13 years, I have been teaching all disciplines across 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Middle School Science. Additionally, I hold a teaching certificate for high school Biology. I am available to tutor Biology (through AP), Physics, Chemistry, Middle School Mathematics, as well as intro level Algebra.   


Brittany graduated from Boston College in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minors in Accounting and Economics. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Accounting from Rutgers University. She is available to tutor students in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and SAT/ACT test preparation. She is looking forward to sharing her love of math with her students and hopes that they come to enjoy the subject as much as she does!


Lisa is a passionate high school math teacher who loves helping students tackle barriers to becoming efficient, confident problem-solvers. From middle school math through Calculus, homework help to standardized test prep, she understands the obstacles that can get in the way of success and explains concepts in a personal way that works for each individual learner. She has a Masters in Math Education, a bachelor's degree in Psychology and 15+ years of teaching experience. 


Jean Pierre (JP) Pinto graduated from Rutgers University in 2008 with a Masters in Science in the field of
chemistry. I currently teach at Centenary University as an Instructor of Chemistry. I have over 12 years of
tutoring experience with all levels of chemistry and have 6 years of experience as a Certified Teacher of
Chemistry in the state of NJ. I bring my strong passion for chemistry and helping struggling students
understand and navigate the subject to every session!


Matt currently teaches physics and chemistry at Mount Olive High School. He is also the current lead mentor for the Mount Olive Robotics Team. With ten years of experience in the classroom, Matt hopes to impart an appreciation for scientific phenomena and how we collectively gather information and solve problems, regardless of our academic background or social status. His passion for physics came from audio recording and skateboarding, and he is still deeply passionate about sports, the outdoors, and DIY music.


Joe graduated from New Jersey City University in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in mathematics and Secondary Education. Joe has been teaching High School mathematics for 5 years in Newark, including Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Geometry at all levels. Joe sees math in everything in life and has a way of explaining it to students at their level so that it makes sense to them in real world scenarios. Although he enjoys teaching in the classroom, he loves working one on one with students to help bring out their full potential.


Tracy graduated from Rowan University in 2020 with a B.A. in Mathematics and Secondary Education along with a minor in Statistics. She is currently teaching high school mathematics at Monroe Township High School in Monroe Township, NJ. Tracy is available to tutor students in middle school math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. She is hoping to help her students build a positive relationship with math!


Melissa graduated from Centenary College with a B.S. in Mathematics in 2009 and earned her Master’s in Instructional Leadership in 2012.  Her certificates include Mathematics K-12 and Teacher of Students with Disabilities.  She currently works at Dover High School as their Resource Room math teacher and is studying to complete her Doctorate in Educational Leadership.  Melissa is able to help students in Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra 1. Her passion for math and outgoing personality gives students the freedom to engage their thinking.  


Nikita graduated from Montclair State University with a bachelor’s in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She also received her CEAS in Biology/Life Sciences, K-12.  Nikita is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Education-Curriculum & Instruction: Science K-12. She currently teaches High School Biology and several electives. She specializes in ACT Science and Biology. 


Deborah graduated from Centenary University with her bachelor’s in biology and equine science before heading to Seton Hall University to get her master’s in molecular biology. While at Seton Hall, Deborah was a teaching assistant, heading up the laboratory class for freshman biology 1 & 2, and embryology. She would also pitch in and help in cell biology, genetics and anatomy & physiology. As of fall semester 2020, Deborah has joined Centenary University as a professor for the science department. When not tutoring, Deborah breeds pythons and enjoys time with her horses


Kayla graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.A. in mathematics in 2016 and a M.A in education in 2017. Kayla is currently a fourth year teacher at Dover High School and teaches Algebra I & II, Geometry, and AP Calculus. Kayla's passion for mathematics and belief that every student has the capability of succeeding makes her able to assist any student. 



Courtney graduated from Montclair State University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a minor in Sociology.  She has been tutoring middle school and high school students for the past three years at Homework Helpers. There is no greater thrill for her than to see her students succeed.  Courtney has helped countless students improve their SAT and ACT scores.  Many of those same students have received assistance from Courtney writing their college essays.  Courtney is available to help students on the SAT/ACT/PSAT Prep, College Essays, Middle School/High School English.


Anna graduated from Kean University in 2011 with a B.A. in  Education with a certificate in Special Education Students with Disabilities K-5/5-8 and a minor in English. Anna began teaching in Soehl Middle School in Linden, NJ in September of 2011. Anna started as in In-Class Support teacher for 7th grade math and 8th grade science. In January of 2012, Anna began teaching 6th and 7th grade Resource English to students with disabilities ranging from AD/HD to Behaviorally and Emotionally disturbed. Anna is currently teaching 6th and 8th grade English Language Arts to students with disabilities. Anna is trained in Developmental Reading Assessment (DRA) and Sonday Reading Intervention Program.


Matt graduated from Kean University in 2011 with a B.A. in English and began teaching 9th Grade English later that year. He briefly was a part of a Gifted and Talented school where he taught S.T.E.M. and Journalism to students ranging in age from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Matt currently teaches 6th and 7th Grade English in a Middle School. He has also privately tutored students ranging from 3rd to 7th Grade. Matt believes Reading and Writing are a foundation for all learning and is focused to help Middle School students with English Language Arts instruction including but not limited to: Reading Comprehension Strategies, The Writing Process, Creative Writing (especially poetry), and Test Taking Strategies (PARCC).


Matt has been teaching world and American literature at the high school level for 15 years  He studied comparative literature at Fairleigh Dickinson University earning his Master's degree in 2008. Matt is available to tutor ACT/SAT, essay writing and reading comprehension.


Becky is a Secondary Teacher of English with Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Sociology from Grove City College. She was eager to get into the classroom with her emphasis on content knowledge, so she obtained her teaching certificate in secondary English in 2016. She taught HS English for 3 years at a private school before transitioning to a permanent role at North Hunterdon Regional High School teaching 12th grade English. Becky has been on the Homework Helpers team since 2015 tutoring in SAT/ACT prep, SSAT/ISEE, 8-12 Language Arts, with a focus on Honors/AP/IB coursework and essay writing. Becky loves literature, and she is excited to help your student love it, too!


Lizzy Solovey earned her M.A. in the Teaching of English from Teachers College, Columbia University and believes that every student can learn to feel confident in their reading and writing skills, even if they need a little help at first. With four years of high school teaching experience and over a decade of tutoring experience with students in grades K-12 under her belt, she is excited to share her expertise on all things English related. Whether you need help with reading comprehension, grammar, essay writing, research papers, or test taking, Lizzy is there to help you. Fun fact? Lizzy also speaks Russian fluently and can help ESL learners feel more confident in speaking English. She can't wait to work with you! 


Christine has been teaching for ten years. She graduated from Centenary in 2010 and received her NJ Teacher of English (K-12) certification, and earned her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction/Reading in 2016 from University of Phoenix with her Reading Specialist (P-12) endorsement. She spent six years teaching in NJ public schools as a middle school ELA teacher and literacy coach before transitioning to a virtual English teacher working with students in grades 6-12. Christine specializes in reading and writing tutoring for grades 6-12, and has extensive experience helping special education students, including those with dysgraphia and dyslexia, develop a love and appreciation for literature. She can also administer the CTOPP-2 assessment to evaluate phonological skills for students in grades 3-12. 


Robin graduated from Drew University with a Doctorate in Modern History and Literature.  Since 2006, she has taught writing, literature, and history classes at several New Jersey colleges. She began tutoring at the same time, helping students prepare for the ACT, SAT (including the SAT Literature Subject test), and AP Language and Literature exams. Robin also assists students with coursework, the research process, and paper writing. Inside and outside of the classroom, she believes that each student’s education experience is unique and that individually-focused assistance can help each student succeed and become a life-long learner. 


Angelica graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from The College of New Jersey in May 2018 as an English and Elementary Education dual major, and is set to complete her Master of Education in ESL May 2019. After student teaching internationally in Rome, participating in a NYC teaching fellowship with middle school students, and tutoring bilingual fifth graders, she is excited to bring her passion for education to Homework Helpers. Her hope is to help cultivate a love of reading, writing, and literature in her students, by integrating inquiry and fun into her approach. 


Becky graduated from Gettysburg College and earned a B.A in English with a Writing Concentration, and a minor in Peace and Justice Studies. She is in the process of getting her teaching certification in Secondary English Education. Becky recently completed her student teaching internship, where she taught 12th grade College-Level British Literature and 9th grade English.  Becky has a great passion for writing and enjoys helping students improve their writing skills to become confident writers. She believes in recognizing the individual needs of each student and tailoring her sessions around those needs to ultimately lead to great success. 


Kirsten is a Long Valley resident and West Morris Central Alumni. She attended County College of Morris where she graduated with her Associate’s Degree in English. Currently enrolled at Montclair State University, Kirsten is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a dual certification in Secondary Education. She has extensive experience tutoring peers at County College of Morris and at Montclair State University. Kirsten has a passion for Literature and writing. She can work with middle school and high school English students, in addition to working with students for SAT/ACT prep. Kirsten believes that all students learn in their own way, and she works to help them try to understand what methods are most suited to them.


Lea graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and she has always had a passion for writing and literature.  She believes creativity and curiosity play an important role in academic success, so she is always looking for new and exciting ways to approach writing and language arts.  Lea works as a copyeditor and is well-practiced at untangling the mechanics of written English to produce impactful writing. She is also an expert in Shakespeare and script analysis. Lea’s mission as a tutor is for her students to discover a love of learning and develop an enthusiasm for the power of language!


Caroline is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University where she earned her undergraduate degree in Literature with a minor in British Studies and her graduate degree in Secondary Education. She enjoys working with middle and high school students in helping them explore the wonderful things Language Arts has to offer. In her free time, Caroline loves to read, walk her dog Harper, travel, and play games with her family. She aims to encourage students to have a positive relationship with school, and to aid them in achieving their goals. Caroline is available to tutor writing, reading comprehension, and SAT/ACT. 


Summer is a 6th grade teacher of Language Arts at Long Valley Middle School. She holds a B.A. in English as well as Teaching Certificates in 6-12 English Language Arts and K-12 Special Education. She is a current resident and native of Long Valley! Her goals are to support students’ learning through encouragement and differentiation. She hopes to spark a love of reading and writing within her students. When she’s not submerged in a book, she enjoys running and exercising- especially on the Columbia Trail!



Bekah graduated from Swarthmore College in May 2019 with degrees in Psychology and Linguistics. She is currently in her first year at Pace University’s doctoral program in child and adolescent psychology with aspirations to become a child therapist. She is particularly interested in developmental learning and cognition sciences and loves applying the strategies she learns to help guide her students through test prep, essay writing, and language learning!


Robin earned degrees from Montclair State and the University of Lyon, France. Having studied, lived, and traveled extensively throughout France, she has a strong appreciation and understanding of the French language and the cultures of the French-speaking world. She believes that all students can achieve success in World Language study and that effective tutoring requires encouragement, optimism and patience. Robin’s hope is that all students will achieve proficiency in the areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing.


Elena is a Peruvian native who has lived and worked in the USA for the last 35 years. She likes to focuses her classes on the needs of the student. Their motivation and comfort is of the highest importance. Elena uses a lot of vocabulary , shown with drawings to show examples. My goal is to make students learn and speak the language in a very natural and easy way.


Kayla earned her B.A. in Modern Foreign Languages: Spanish and French Translation & Interpretation from James Madison University. She previously taught ESL in Limoges, France, and currently teaches Elementary Spanish in NJ. Kayla loves working with learners of all ages and sharing her enthusiasm for foreign language acquisition. 


Janice Higgins

Janice recently retired as a guidance counselor from West Morris Central High School after 33 years. She has a Master’s in counseling from Montclair State University. Over

​Kelly is a former Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Fairleigh Dickinson University.  She has found a way to combine her extensive knowledge of financial aid guidelines with her desire to help families succeed at saving money for college. She has a track record in achieving financial benefits for her many satisfied clients.

Liz has a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Alfred University and an MEd in Early Childhood Education from Tufts University. Her certificates are Elementary Education and Reading Specialist. She has been teaching children in kindergarten through fifth grade for over 30 years. Her passion is ensuring that each and every child develops a love of learning while succeeding academically. 


Nick is currently a senior honors student working towards a degree in Finance at Rider University. Upon completing his undergraduate studies, Nick aspires to go to law school and become an attorney. At Homework Helpers, he is working to create a comprehensive LSAT prep program and will be available to tutor that subject and several others. Nick has a deep love of learning new information, and he hopes to share that passion with every student with whom he interacts. Additionally, and most importantly, he believes that all goals are attainable through hard work and effective instruction!


Katie Sabatino is a current student at Columbia University’s Teachers College earning her Masters in Curriculum Development. She is a certified teacher and has experience teaching students K-8 in all subject areas. She earned her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from Bucknell University and especially loves teaching math as it was her most challenging subject as a student. She believes that every student has the potential to excel given the proper support and a safe learning environment.
